What type of picture do I need?
You need a digital image, saved in JPG format.
It should ideally be:
- no more than 50Kb in size.
- at least 250 pixels wide and 200 pixels high.
- landscape (horizontal) rather than portrait (vertical).
- a head shot or a head and upper body shot.

How do I change the format and/or file size of my picture?
You can edit the format and/or file size of your picture by using desktop software (such as Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro or Fireworks) or web based graphics editors like http://www.myimager.com

How many pictures can I submit?
Each member can only submit one picture.

How do I remove my pet's picture?
Contact us, stating your pet's name, and we will remove it.

Can I replace my picture with a new one?
Yes, you can. Contact us, stating your pet's name, and we will remove it. You can then submit a new pet. But remember, your pet's score will be reset to zero!

How long does the competition last?
The competition starts on 12th June 2006 and runs until 1st March 2007.

What are the prizes?
The winning pet owner will receive a year's supply of pet food worth £150.

How do I rate a pet?
You can choose to rate your favourite pet out of ten, by clicking one of the numbers below the
picture (where 1 indicates the lowest rating 10 indicates the highest).
Your vote automatically contributes to that pet's overall score and affects its position in the league.
Once you've voted a new picture of a pet is displayed for your next vote.

How do I vote for a particular pet?
Basically, you can't. All pet images are served randomly. This means all the pets get a fair chance.

Can I vote for my own pet?
All pet images are served randomly so if you find your pet you can vote for him. You can also encourage
your friends to visit the site and rate your pet by asking them to support your pet.

Why can't I see my pet on the league table?
Once you've submitted your pet, it may take up to five working days for it to be displayed. This is to allow us to moderate all pictures and text submitted.

How does my pet win?
One winner will be chosen at random from all active entrants.
